Bob Ortenzio is a member of the firm's Distinguished Executives Council.

Bob is Executive Chairman, co-founder, and a member of the board of directors of Select Medical.

Bob served as Select’s CEO from February 2005 to December 2013. In 1997, he co-founded Select Medical Corporation (“SMC”). Before co-founding Select Medical, Bob was an Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of Horizon/CMS Healthcare Corporation. He co-founded Continental Medical Systems, Inc. (“CMS”), a provider of comprehensive medical rehabilitation services, and he served as its President.
