U.S. Renal Care Opens Eight Dialysis Centers

December 18, 2008

December 18, 2008 – DALLAS — U.S. Renal Care Inc. (USRC), a leading provider of outpatient kidney dialysis services, has opened eight dialysis centers in 2008 with plans to open additional new centers in strategic locations throughout the United States in 2009. All of the new centers are joint venture partnerships with private-practice nephrologists that develop and manage world-class dialysis centers.

Each USRC center primarily serves patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, also known as end stage renal disease. With the opening of the new centers, USRC has increased its share of the dialysis patient population in the markets that it operates.

“We are excited about the continued development of our successful joint venture partnership model. This unique relationship involves the integration of an experienced management team and the clinical strengths of our nephrologists,” said Chris Brengard, CEO of U.S. Renal Care. “We already have multiple commitments for expansion in 2009 outside our current geographic footprint. The new centers offer patients in these areas additional choice for their care, state of the art technology, and for many, better access to care.”
